That quote was used in Diablo’s (some RPG game by Blizzard Entertainment) instruction manual. I recall it to be something along the line of: “He who fights monster should beware lest he becomes a monster.”
Probably. A lot of great quotes are a reflection of other ones we may have seen, read or heard. Doesn’t make it any less beautiful =)
